Atmosphere was great, food was simply excellent. A definite must for anyone who wants a bit of the South with a unique flair.
Easily my favorite dinner during our trip to Savannah! If you are vegetarian or vegan, and you are tired of only being able to eat ravioli or a salad in restaurants, you must come here! Seriously. I ordered the vegetarian special of the day and it was absolutely delicious!
One of the three best places to eat in Savannah! It has become a “must do” when we come to Savannah. The staff are entertaining and helpful, the menu is off the charts! These guys are doing things with food that will astound you. We drive 6 hours just to eat here, it’s that good!
This place is out of this world. Seriously. The service is impeccable. The food is out of control. We had the shrimp and grits, the beef tenderloin and the elk special. Amazing. I could’ve had a vat of the mashed potatoes as well. I would encourage everyone to go for the exotic special! Go here! Run don’t walk!
We found this gem online as we were driving into Savannah! I quote my husband, “this is the best meal I’ve ever had”!! We sat at the bar and it was top notch! The bartender was able to explain everything in such great detail! They brought out a bite of soup, which was delicious! We ordered grits and shrimp as our appetizer…I’ve never had grits and it was delicious! Fresh baked bread and fig/corn muffins with a unique twist on butter. I ordered the scallops with pomegranate risotto and hubby ordered deer over veggies with sweet potato purée! Everything was amazing and better yet it was organic!
Great place for a date. They do a great job of ensuring that you have privacy. They separate the tables where you feel like you are one of only a few in the restaurant. It is amazing. The food was incredible.
Excellent shrimp and grits. The best I have had. The owner talked to every table about food and service. Great service.
Where do I begin? The food was amazing! The service was attentive and professional. We were looking for a true southern cuisine experience, and we found it here. We paired a crisp Russian River Valley pinot grigio with alligator pork sausage, alligator salad, habanero oysters, ocean trout, and suckling pork. It was all amazing, especially the oysters! The trout was simply perfect as well. It was the first time I had alligator, and it was really good! Did I mention we had a baby with us? They didn’t miss a beat, they were extremely helpful and even made a special fruit dish for our little guy.
Since this was my 1st visit to Savannah, I stopped by a coffee house to get a recommendation from the locals. What great advice! The service and food was excellent. From the moment I walked in, everyone was there to make sure I enjoyed the dining experience. The food was fresh and delicious, the wait staff very helpful and attentive. The next time I visit, this restaurant is on the list!
Was in town for business and took try at this place. Exceptional service (sat at the bar, great chatting with others and the bartenders) good drinks and excellent food.
This restaurant is great! Everything we ate was amazing! Friendly staff and great atmosphere makes this a perfect place!
Very innovative menu by the chef. Seems to change every time I go. Service is also first class. If you are looking for a local Savannah establishment to take your significant other out for a special dinner then I highly recommend this place. Also a great place to impress business associates.
Awesome food, superb service, great atmosphere. We had bison that fell right off the bone & a guinea hen cordon blu that I was afraid to order but so glad I did, the chef knows his stuff, we wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
Great, personal service and delicious food. My husband said it was the best steak he’s had in a long time, and my scallops were delicious. Don’t be in a hurry, but otherwise you’ll have a great time.
I can’t say enough about this restaurant. Dining with 8 people from my family, they easily accommodated our large group. The farm to table experience is incredible. The menu is ever evolving due to the availability of the local food, however if any of these are available on the menu you must must try the gator, the elk with pappardelle, the beef tenderloin wrapped in bacon and my favorite the shrimp and grits and oysters. Our waitress was over the top friendly and a real trooper with all of our requests and questions about the menu. Extremely knowledgeable. A must go if you are in town.
